Application for EACA International Summer School opens on 8 November 201

Brussels, 8 November 2012: Application for the fourth EACA International Summer School opens today. From 8-12 July 2013 students and young professionals will attend workshops by leading advertising practitioners at the Escola Superior de design, marketing e publicidade - IADE - in Lisbon, Portugal. During the week, they will learn how the different communications disciplines fit together to create a complete campaign and work in international teams on a single real client brief.

This year the EACA Summer School is working in partnership with leading games producer EA Sports, who will provide the client brief which will be presented to all the attendees on the first day.

Participants are able to choose between two groups according to their level of experience. The Foundation group is aimed at Bachelor students (1st, 2nd, 3rd years) and the Advanced group is aimed at Masters’ degree students and young professionals with up to two years’ work experience. The two courses cost €300 and €500 respectively.

At the 2012 EACA International Summer School the 74 students, from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, UK and USA, were challenged and inspired by the courses and trainers, who brought their own passion and expertise into new areas such as disruptive advertising.

Students should send their application before 8 April 2013 to and the students accepted for the EACA International Summer School will be informed on 17 April 2013.
